a healthy dose of inspiration

so i've been thinking a lot lately about how to appeal to a larger audience. i mean, i have my set group of people i know that read my blog. i also know a lot of people read it but i'm not aware of it because i can see how many view it, but i would like to start branching out and becoming more popular with people that i don't know, or have yet to meet!

with that, i want to share with you all the story of sandi. i met sandi on facebook actually. there's a super popular fitness model - jamie eason - and she has a facebook page. she came out with a new training program and i had commented on one of her posts and so did sandi. we were both training for a half marathon. we went back and forth just to find out we were both doing the nike women's half in san francisco. (small world!) well, we added each other as facebook friends and after messaging back and forth a bit, i learned that sandi had been through her own lifestyle transformation just as i had. we tried to meet up at the half in october, but it just didn't work out. now, she's going to be in LA at the same fit expo as me on saturday, hopefully we will get to meet up there, but who knows! isn't it crazy how small of a world it is and how things bring people together?

i also want to share it with those of you who see my transformation and think "psh, she's just a 25 year old girl, who has never had a baby, so it SHOULD be easy for her to lose weight." well sandi isn't 25 and she's had children and she looks absolutely phenomenal.

here are her before and after pictures:

seriously, look at how hot she is!

here's the link to her muscle and strength featured transformation so you can read all about it. she's an amazing woman i tell you! i'm honored to have "met" her!
