soo on this ever-so-lovely vacation of mine, i got to run.. a lot. i got to run at the most perfect, beautiful place. the beach. surrounded by gorgeous, breath-taking views. i mean, seriously, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by this...
it inspired me. i ran with my head held high. (dork!) and i ran with my heart. and my soul. and my emotions. i ran and ran and ran and ran and ran until i told myself that i should stop because if i didn't i would go on forever (ruuun jennnnnaa ruuuuunnn).
i mean, i don't think it was only the beautiful scenery. it was a combination of spectacular company (a group of the most profound women in my life), peaceful rest (i slept like a baby), time to think (no noise and stress), and just plain fun.
transforming your life is not only about working out and eating healthy. one must take time to get to know their real self. feel comfortable in their skin. do what they want to do when they want to do it. i decided i am at that point in my life. i'm free to run the world (both literally AND figuratively). and guess what? that is just what i plan on doing!
so what's on the jenna agenda for the next few months??
may 7th - temecula run through the vineyards 10k
may 15th - bay to breakers 12k
june 5th - san diego rock n' roll half marathon
end of july - going to NORCAL for two-three weeks :) (soul-searching?) or maybe going to texas for a week with my mom or vegas? lord knows i'll be going somewhere, the fine details will be decided at a later date!
december - rock n' roll half in VEGAS baby!
i mean, really. this is the life. and i'm living it. you should try it out sometime!
okay, it's SO time for me to go visit my long-lost friend, the GYM. he's been calling and calling me for a week now and i don't even pick up the phone.
