great reasons to plan weekly meals on sunday.

okay sooo since i last blogged, i have:

- done my last chance workout
- weighed-in (down 1lb!)
- WON team challenge (AGAIN) :)
-  got a terrible sinus infection (boooooooooooo)

last chance workout was fun. tough, but fun. we had 9 stations that we rotated through, i found out what makes me want to puke while i'm working out... planks and anything that has to do with my lower abs/hip flexors. ICK! it's a gnarly feeling.

then saturday i woke up, kinda sore, but feeling pretty good. i went and weighed in. i lost another pound. i tried super hard not to feel bad that it was only a pound, but seriously, why should i feel bad? i lost weight!  i would like to shoot for 2 next week though!

after the weigh in, i walked with sarah and then we had our team challenge. basically, we had to run, linked with a partner, and toss a water balloon. the team with the most won, which was the GREEN TEAM! woohoo! :) 2 for 2!

then i went shopping for the engagement party with my mom. and in the midst of it, got a terrible sinus headache. so bad that i couldn't eat, and barely function. so i came home and went straight to bed after a shot of nyquil. this morning i'm feeling a little better, trying to stay hydrated and relax a bit, but i HAVE to cook for the week. so i'll leave you with the reasons why i LOVE cooking for the week on sundays:

1. less dishes to do. (not cooking throughout the week saves so many dishes! all i have to do is wash the dishes on sundays)
2. less money spent. (i buy exactly what i'm going to eat that week, then nothing is wasted, and no eating out!)
3. diet stays on track. (i don't have to search high and low for something to eat. everything is already planned out and prepared!)
4. no hassle packing lunches in the AM. (it takes me about 1min each morning to pack food for the ENTIRE day, lunch, snacks, and dinner)

so, if anything, DO IT! try it once, and once you get the hang of it, it becomes SUPER easy!

happy sunday!
