holy @#$%!

what a week this has been!!!

okay so tuesday was a crazy day. i accidentally spilled my lunch at work, so it threw my entire meal plan off but luckily, with some great support, i was able to figure it all out! i also went to the gym and got in a 30min run and did back and bicep exercises. i felt great when i got home!

then there was today.. woke up feeling pretty tired. worked, and then around 4:45 i got super sleepy. so i made myself half a cup of coffee. then around 5:55 i left for my workout! when i got to the gym i went and changed my shirt and while i was in the bathroom, my darn water bottle (aka my BEST FRIEND!) fell on the ground and broke. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :( i'm sad about it! it still works, just looks a little ghetto. but i found it on amazon.com so i'm gonna buy myself a new one tonight! :)

now on to the workout... ha!!!

ok so we started with half walk/half run around the building and the usual warm-ups.
next we were told to pick a partner that we had not met yet. i met Krysta. she kicked butt too! i was proud of her, and everyone on our team. it's so amazing to have so many people working toward the same goal around you!

ok back to the workout.. we used the TRX trainer (see above) and did pull ups, while our partner did jumping jacks and then we switched. we did that three times. next we did squats with the 20lb kettle bells while i partner did high knee jogging in place and we switched. we did THAT three times. after that, we ran full-out half way around the building. i came in second! woohoo!! i was exhausted after that! all i could keep telling myself was "wedding dress, wedding dress" haha!

then on to our next circuit. we used the TRX to do squats while our partner did a plank, and then we switched, three times again. the next was we did a squat holding a weight and then pushed it up above our head when we came up while our partner did a plank again. then we switched, three times annnnnnnnnnnd ANOTHER half-lap. oh man!!!!!!!!!!! i was E X H A U S T E D!

last, we did as many push ups as we could for 20 seconds, then we did it again for another 20 seconds. i am proud to say i didn't do "GIRL" push ups until the verrrrrrrrrrry end. so at least 35 out of those 40 seconds were normal push ups. no knees on the ground!

after that we did a cool down.

oh my gosh. on my drive home i honestly almost threw up. hahaha. i was on the phone with my mom and she was like "should i let you go?!" but i didn't. i don't think i've ever pushed myself that hard. sweat dripping into my eyes, entire body shaking, almost throwing up. AHmazing. crazy, but amazing.

friday is our "last chance workouts" that i signed up for. they're supposed to push us even more because we have weigh-ins on saturdays. YIKES!

i do have to say that i am so freakin' proud of our green team. everyone works so well together and is so positive and supportive. it just amazes me.

tomorrow should be a fun day! :) hahaha.
