so tomorrow morning is already my first weigh in... YIKES! it's already been a week!?! good thing we all have immunity. i'm so nervous to see how i did... what if my weight didn't go down???? it scares me to death! lol...
the cool thing is, i weigh in at 7:45 and our team challenge is not until 9:30, but there's a class from 8 to 9 that we can sign up for and do in between which is awesome. my new friend sarah and i are going to try and do it tomorrow morning. also- we are going to start having last chance workouts on friday nights. i'm going to sign up for those tomorrow too so that i can get in a good calorie-burning workout every friday before weigh ins!
now for the advice i promised yesterday.
10 steps to a championship day
1. i slept at least 7 hours last night.
2. i ate breakfast this morning.
3. i ate smaller portions more often, spread evenly across the day (5 meals)
4. my carbohydrate intake was relative to my activity level. i ate "glycemically correct carbs," high in color and fiber. the less processed the better.
5. i selected lean protein sources with each meal, with some "fabulous fats."
6. i limited/reduced carbohydrate intake after 4pm today.
7. i stayed hydrated all day today (drank a minimum of 8 glasses of h20)
8. i exercised for a minimum of 30 minutes today.
9. i consumed 4-5 servings of fruits and/or veggies today.
10. i didn't eat past 7:00 or 7:30pm at night.

today, i did probably 6 or 7 out of 10. my plan is to go grocery shopping tomorrow or sunday so that i will have more fruits & veggies in my house and that way i can follow along with these more closely.
i'm so nervous for the weigh-in. i'll let you know how it goes!
