ok now that i got my nerd outta the way, i decided today that i'd share a "perfect" day in the life of jenna. by "perfect" i mean proper supplementation, workouts and nutrition. so because i
7:30AM
16oz Water
8:45AM
1/2 cup rolled oats with cinnamon and Erythritol
1 scoop Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard (Chocolate Mint) mixed with 8oz water
1 fish oil pill
2 CLA pills
1 vitamin C pill
11:45AM
4oz extra lean ground turkey
1 cup steamed broccoli
3oz sweet potato
teriyaki sauce for flavor (i know the sodium content can be high but i dont eat enough sodium as it is)
1 fish oil pill
2 CLA pills
1 vitamin C pill
1 biotin pill
Pre-Workout
1/2 can Monster Energy Absolutely Zero
During Workout
1/2 Vitamin Water Zero XXX
1 tsp BCAAs
1 tsp Glutamine
Post-Workout
14oz Muscle Milk Light Cafe Latte
1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
4:00PM
4oz chicken breast
1 cup steamed broccoli
3oz sweet potato

this puts me at about 1400 calories, 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat. not to mention i drink a TON of water all day.
as for my workouts:
12:45PM
first one was on the treadmill. i did a 15 minute walking warm-up just to stretch sore muscles. then i did 20mins of 1-minute intervals. first i walked for a minute at 3.5 or so then i sprinted a minute at incline 3, 9.0 speed. i did ten of these and then walked for about 2 minutes to cool down then stretched.

my second workout will be at P4L Fitness tonight. it is the metabolic resistance class. if you want to get your butt kicked, come try it with me. it's what i did to jump start my weight loss and i'm fully addicted. plus, this gym has some amazing people that go there and work there, they've become a family to me! here's a look at what it's like:

This sounds wonderful Jen! Its not for me, but I am SO glad you love it! The only thing that gets be is the lingo of all the supplements/pills. You have to explain it better for me!
ReplyDeletehey Cait! the CLA pills are fat burners.. they work great for me! i noticed results after taking them for two weeks. the biotin is for hair/skin/nails. that works wonders as well, my hair grows SO fast! then the BCAAs are branched chain amino acids, they support recovery, muscle-building and fat loss. they also give you energy for your workouts :)
ReplyDeletei know my diet is kind of hardcore, its not like this to the T every day but i try and keep it close to there for now while i'm trying to lose a few lbs! :)
