hmmm.. where to begin! oh yeah, how i got SICK maybe??
well, last week i began to feel a teeny tiny bit under the weather, so i pumped the zicam, water, sleep, etc. i started feeling a bit better. i worked out HARD on friday night.. then decided it would be an awesome idea to wake up saturday morning and RUN to the weigh-in. that means 6 miles from my house to p4l. well i'm SO glad that i got talked into it because i ran the entire way, no problem!! it was awesome having supportive people to run with and talk to while we were going. however, i was instantly sore afterwards! well, i weighed in and lost 2.2 more lbs last week! woohoo. then i went hiking with some long lost friends later that evening, it was so good to just walk and talk and enjoy the views. after our hike, i probably should have gone home and gone to bed, but instead i went out with a few friends, which means i didn't get to bed until super late and i was going off a LOT of exercise and a LITTLE sleep. so sunday morning i wake up feeling SUPER SUPER sore and slightly sick. then monday comes, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. SO freakin' sick. what a fail!!!!
so me, the workout queen that i am, decided to still go to the gym monday night, but do super light cardio (walked on the treadmill at like 3.0, incline 2) for 30 mins then go home and i went to bed really early so that i could survive my first day back to work with students today. well i'm here, and alive. all day today at work i drank TONS of water, took vitamins, ate fruits and veggies, just trying super hard to get better, especially because i want to get in a good workout tomorrow night! i'm not feeling as bad as i did yesterday, so hopefully tomorrow's a better day!
i've been super stressed about being sick though, which probably doesn't help. it is hard for me to focus on losing weight when i know i should take time off working out and eat a bit differently because i'm sick. it drives me crazy but i know, well i tell myself, that it's for the better.
